Boracay Events April 19-21, 2012

There are alot of happenings this summer here in Boracay  (Western Visayas region of the Philippines and is known for its white sand beach).  I just arrived here in Kalibo this afternoon (nearby town) and will be off to a line-up of activities.

For those still preparing their itineraries, April 19-25 is jam packed with various events you can hop into, from one island to another. Here’s a quick tour on what you can check out during your stay:

NESTEA BEACH

I just took my smooth 30-minute flight from Manila to Kalibo International Airport; big banners promoting Nestea Beach will welcome you.  Nestea always brings a refreshing summer treat: there’s volleyball tournament, beach clean-up drive and night party. Celebrities like Derek Ramsay, Bianca Manalo, Erich Gonzales and other Kapamilya stars will be there too.  Dropby Crystal Sand Resort Boracay from April 19-21- this is at the beach front of boat station 1.

GLOBAL CSR SUMMIT

If you’re up for meeting business peopla and attend a corporate event, Shangri-la Hotel Boracay is hosting the Global CSR Awards 2012.  Pinnacle Group Singapore organized this event to recognize social responsibility efforts of various companies here in the Philippines and abroad.   It’s more fun in the Philippines, because we don’t just “enjoy” and take pleasure in recreation but in helping communities as well.
