Cebuano Fastfood Quest

Are you looking for an affordable yet different fastfood where you can dine in Cebu city?  I checked My Joy and Dimsum Break at Ayala Center to give my stomach a quick but yummy fill of Pinoy and Chinese dishes.

My Joy

My Joy’s best sellers are their burgers, tacos, and spaghetti.  Like Jollibee and McDonalds,  they also serve rice meals like sizzling bangus, grilled pork belly, fried chicken, grilled tocino, and steak, among others. Their pricing is  affordable with various combo meals to choose from.

MyJoy also serves mouthwatering halo-halo and fresh shakes. Shake flavors include mango, pineapple, buko, and avocado.

My Joy’s interior painted in pink, green and yellow gives a refreshing ambiance to the place

Dimsum Break

Dimsum Break’s cafeteria style/self-service set-up is attractive for diners who come in big groups with families and friends.  You can fill your plate with your favorite rice bowls and noodles with a variety of flavor.  They have a wide range of dimsum, too from pork or shrimp siomai and lumpiang shanghai to name some favorites.  They offer native deserts such as leche flan and buko salad.  They have juice, coffee, tea and shakes for drinks, too.

I didn’t mind the long line since I get to see what they’re cooking!
Everything with two cups of rice at P350.00 – They also serve salads, but Im skipping a good diet today.
