Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House Cebu

It was night time when I visited this ancestral house in Cebu, but i posted this photo taken during the day for you to recognize the place when you walk along the streets of Parian.  The ancestral house usually closes as early as 6pm but because of my charm (my Cebuano escort’s actually), we were allowed to come inside the place and take some photos.  There’s a minimal fee of 20 or 30 pesos.

I was drawn to these paintings hanging near the entrance walls.
portrait of the house
Ceramics and Potteries
porcelain pots
framed ornament made of capiz shells
2nd floor dining room
the old kitchen tools
i admired the harp longer!
waiting to be serenaded (harana) by the window
mirror mirror on the wall
taken from the garden

The Yap-Sandiego ancestral house is only one of its kind along Parian Cebu. For historical account of the place visit

Visit other museums near the area, make sure you stroll during day time

  1. Hi. My brother and his officemates was just at that place and they saw the portrait of that lady sitting on a chair. I know this sounds crazy, but I look exactly like here. Pls check my facebook. My name is Grushen Guazon. If you have any info about her I’d really would appreciate it if you can tell me abt it. Thanks!
