If you’re looking for your photo taken by a pretty stranger at Fantasy Quest 3, you came to the right place. You may find one of your shots here, or in the next batch I’m about to post soon.
For our followers on fb or wordpress, Fantasy Quest is an annual event attended by cosplayers where we take photos in groups, have photographs with an invited international cosplayer, enjoy games and see merchandise exhibits . This year’s gathering was held at Fernwood Garden in Quezon city. I came there earlier today with my two siblings.
By the way, in case you do not know yet, I’m an anime and gaming enthusiast. I have been attending cosplay events for the past three years, often as “manager” and “personal assistant” of my brother and sister who goes there in costume. I enjoy taking photos of cosplayers – admiring their costumes and checking how their look resembles the character they portray. I’ve wanted to cosplay, too but always end up going to the event as “my gorgeous self”. Anyway, that’s in my bucket list of dreams to fulfill. For today, I’ve enjoyed capturing photos and here are some of them. Just click and enjoy!
Disney Princess Ariel selected a nice spot to hang out in the middle of the forest. Guess she got tired of the waters.
Have seen the same costume from the “7 Deadly Sin” cosplayers at the recent Toycon 2013. I must say this one is smartly done.
She’s one of the photographers’ most loved characters that day. Her choice of costume was smart and she can play around with different poses.
Green costumes blend well with the garden background given proper lighting. I liked how she plays with her cape.
This is the blogger who tried to wear Kenshin’s hat but almost forgot it can ruin her cat headband 😛 Im a samurai x fan and would run after any Kenshin cosplayer!

Fire emblem characters are also in the village. Was that an encyclopedia being carried by the mage?
Her purple dress complements her pink hair. Many FQ3 cosplayers came in dresses today.
Poison Ivy and Robin has been walking around the venue together. Plotting something ei?
Cosplayer is very much “in character”. Been observing him alot and how he projects for the camera . Wait, is he a she?
I hope to have taken a better angle of her but the many photographers are blocking my view.
This is my sister dressed in a Fire Emblem character. She sewed her own costume, and did her hair and make-up. I adore this genius 😉
Now you can see from a cosplayer’s stance if they are newbies or a pro. These real life sweethearts has been around cosplay events for quite some time now. And we always love their costumes!
The blogger’s vanity shot from Fantasy Quest
Disney Princesses Merida and Rapunzel. There were many other princesses at Fantasy Quest 3. Photos in batch 2!
I adore this girl! I called her “Ariel” from a distance and she instantly gave me this sweet pose.
Most cosplayers show their artistry through weapons. It takes skilled craftsmen to make one of those.
Cosplay gives you that instant celebrity feeling! When you walk around wearing your costume, photographers will surely follow you around.
